*Lesson #1: The Holiday Barometer*

Picture
*The first thing we feel we should teach you as an elf apprentice is about the Holiday Barometer and why Santa needs your help. The Holiday Barometer sits a top the world at the North Pole and measures all the Holiday magic around the world. Not just Christmas magic, but for all the holidays throughout the year. Because of hard times around the world the Holiday Barometer has been dropping and Santa needs us to help get it going back up. We do this by doing good things for and giving to others everyday. As an Elf Apprentice we learn how to do this in a very magical way!*

*Lesson #2 Peak Magic Days*

Picture
In lesson 1 we talk about the Holiday Barometer and what it does, but now you should know why this is important. The Holiday Barometer  measure the magic in all the holidays around the world, but from this it gives us an idea of how much magic is around us everyday. Remember that we make the Holiday Barometer go up by doing good for and giving to others. Most holidays tend to be 'Peak Magic Days', because they bring people together in a way that they are creating this kind of magic in each others lives. So by measuring the Peak Magic Days we get a good idea of the amount of magic that is around us  everyday. Which also means the higher we can push up the Holiday Barometer, the more residual magic we will see in our everyday lives!

*Lesson #3 Magic Christmas Snow and North Pole Dust*

Picture
Beacause of the giving nature of Christmas and the fact that it is celebrated in some form or the other  nearly everywhere in the world, Christmas is the #1 Peak Magic Day of the year. It is so magical that something wonderful happens every year at the North Pole...it snows. Now I know your thinking it snows at the North Pole a lot and that doesn't seem very magical, but the snow that falls on Christmas at the North Pole is truely magical snow. You see its this snow that is turned into North Pole Magic Dust! This dust is used for some very important things like making reindeer fly, time travel, magic chimneys, magic mailboxes, and protecting the North Pole's secret location just to name a few.
Side note: There has been a high demand for North Pole magic dust and less magic snow falling at Christmas. This has meant that Santa's elves and snow farries have been mining past Christmas snow from North Pole ice caverans so that there is enough to keep Santa's Workshop running. Just another reason we need to help get the Holiday Barometer moving back up!
